I heard this bit on Rush today. He read it verbatim and I stood there, jaw gaping, at the hate I could feel coming at me.

Folks, this hate is getting to the soldiers. It's the 70's all over again. More and more I see reports of troops getting only this hate, and no truth, from America.

The troops are beginning to think you ALL feel like this.

Mr. Robinson deserves all praise and my own gratitude, for creating FR and keeping it going. Only here do I see any support for my bretheren under arms. The USO Canteen, the FReeper Foxhole, and comrades past and present on the various threads, all help to stop the insanity.

I know that 42% of this nation are irredeemably Socialist, but the best shines through.

Why I thought the Patriot Act, Nasty John Ashcroft (brrr, shudder) and the climate of fear and repression established by the evil vast right-wing conspiracy have silenced all voices contrary to conservative ideas.
