Final Ping! We fought the good fight - now it is time to make things happen for Arnold (as long as he doesn't swing to the left).

All of you fought your best for a cause you believed in.
Although I didn't agree, I admire that you didn't attack Schwarzenegger as you could have.
I hope that all of you and Arnold are able to work together to make California, the state of Reagan, great once again.
You have my warmest esteem and respect,
Your Fellow Freeper in PA,

We just need to continue to fight for the right
cause. As always regardless of who gets elected.
Often we let our guard down when a Republican
wins rather than realizing regards who wins
the fight is always on.

I think Tom has garnered a lot of positive spin. If he runs against Barbara Boxer, I think he will have a good shot.

You were magnificent.
I won't re-register, though. The Party's platform, and many of its office holders still stand for the principles that brought me into the GOP in the first place.
I intend to stay and fight for those principles for the time being. The CRP won't get my money, but it can't escape my vote and speech, especially on matters that affect party control, such as the election of central committee members.
Meantime, we can work in our capacity as free citizens ... as family members, members of churches and civic groups, associations like non-profits, and in many other ways to defend the family, school choice, colorblind policies, property rights, the sanctity of life, our heritage of Western Civilization and its religious roots and vitality, and so forth.
I wonder how the new Governor and the Bishop in Sacramento will get along? Perhaps the man of God can bring Arnold back to obedience to his faith. I am praying for that.
Keep Faith!
Richard F.

Thanks for all the hard work keeping the forum running. I pray we don't see a bunch of liberals joining Arnie's governorship as I fear.

"Final Ping! We fought the good fight"
We certainly did and een though Tom didn't win there are several pluses.
Tom now has national name recognition(bring on Boxer).
Bustamecha is not governor.
We got the Gray out!

I haven't been following these threads on a daily basis. But was curious what would be here today. Your statement was so gracious in defeat that I just had to tell you that. I don't think many disagree with your premise. And I don't blame you for switching parties. Independent is looking good to a lot of people. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. Now dry up and get back here soon.

RR RD, Thanks for your generosity. I came back to (I) a while ago, even before the recall got started, and much for the same reasons as you. Water's fine. ;-) Let's keep a close eye on Arnold. In the future, let's focus on how we can collectively "push" Arnold to go in the "right" direction.
