RR I have mixed feeling about the result, it was good to see Davis finally realizing that the voters do get it. To be frank I wish Arnold had run as a Democrat and then I wouldnt have to face the difficult decision of getting behind him. That being said Arnold now does have a mandate from Californian voters and I am eager to see how he handles the reins of power. Will he be little more than a poster boy for the Wilson camp or will he be his own man? I choose to think positively and I hope that with some nudging by Tom his fiscal policies will follow the correct course. I do not see Tom being a part of the Arnold team though since I dont believe that the Wilson camp would want him onboard.
So RR Ill just say thanks for all your hard efforts in keeping the Tom daily threads going. Our boy was the best man for the job when you started and hell still be the best man for the job when you stop. We chose to follow our conscience and that is no bad thing. The Arnold supporters on FR cannot say that he was a spoiler, but they also cannot say that Tom was an also-ran candidate.
So today is a new day and as Tiny Tim would say God Bless Us Every One, even the Arnold supporters. :-)
I don't see Tom as part of the team either. As you pointed out, Pete W. won't want him for sure. I expect Arnold would but I don't think Arnold is in the driver's seat.
