Just for posterity and as a way to keep score, please put on this thread stupid comments made by the RATS about RECALL. Jesse Jackson has made them. Global Crossing Terry has made them. Other RATS have made them.
Thanks for your contributions. This could be a fun thread. Please try to link a source.

I think Jim should suspend the "no DU posting" rule for tonightI second that. I had the best time over at DU the night of the 2002 elections. Every single miserable whine filled me with joy.
I wish I still had access to their bleatings that night.

Fox News needs to FIRE Greta Van ParalyzedFace. She keeps saying crap like "If Arnold can't fix California 100% in 90 days, should he be recalled?"
Messes 5 years in the making take longer to straighten out, GRETA.

Art Torres just said on Fox that 300,000 people in Los Angeles are wandering around unable to find their polling places. And this is Arnold's fault? Also, all would be affected by trying to find the polling places and not just dems. Same thing with shortages of polling places, all would be affected not just some.

Tom Brokejaw, after declaring Arnold, just stated that now Arnold faces the same budget problems that caused Grey Davis' demise, implying that the budget will get Arnold too, eventually. Funny, they ignore the effect of Davis' ethical problems and the Dems pay to play mentality.

It's just like the Florida governor's race in 2002. McAwful and his string pullers were so obsessed and blinded by Bush hatred that they threw the kitchen sink into a hopeless effort to take out his brother Jeb, pulling money and resources away from candidates in other races who actually might have had a chance to win.
Please, Rats, keep McAulliffe in his job! Don't let Dr. Demento tell you that Terry sucks.

Truer than you think! Today in Palo Alto, I was standing outside on a smoke break from work, and two guys drove up in a pickup and asked me if I knew where to vote! I am "series"! I just told them I didn't, and laughed as they drove away!

Classic Leon Panetta -- Davis was simply overwhelmed by the State's economic problems.
Now Panetta states that the problem is that power has been given to the people to recall any politician they don't like -- Gee, I thought that was democracy, Leon! He conveniently leaves out the part about Davis flushing a $38 billion surplus.

That is hillarious... what a moron Art Torres is.
I only hope they are looking for the border with Mexico, because the party is over for them.
Ooops, what am I thinking? Arnold is pro illegal-immigration!
Well it was a wonderful thought while it lasted.

I had the best time over at DU the night of the 2002 elections. Did you catch the one about the Recall being worse than a defeat for Democrats?
The commentary is a real hoot!!

Paul "The Forehead" Begala has an absolute long face on this evening. He's wondering how in a state that Gore won by over a million votes even though Bush spent $20 million here could something like this happen.

After casting his own vote in West Hollywood, Davis said: "I feel absolutely terrific. I have always trusted the voters of California and I know they're going to do the right thing today." Sounds like the perfect place to cast a vote for someone who's taking it in the shorts....

Those 300,000 people wandering around looking for their voting place are the same 300,000 who were disenfranchised in Floriduh.
To: Revolting cat!
Yep -- seeing a lot of that spin that "this is a trend beyond Grey Davis." -- Funny -- what about the 72% disapproval rating in the exit polls and Bustamante's 57% disapproval?
Face it -- Dems -- your little experiment in California is the flop we all knew it would be!!!

DNC Terry, just moments ago on fox (7:47PM) said - "Davis wins this" If Terry had been at Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, he would have been in the parking lot to go home in the 7th inning.
Dewey wins!
