If your doctor refused to turn over your medical records for government inspection, would you support your doctor doing so?

Are you aware just how many people have access to this information, which, not too long ago, was held in very close confidence? Are you OK with the government nosing around as much as it does?

The medical records between a doctor and myself is a far cry from library records. Libraries are publically funded institutions, and as such, you have no right to expect privacy in them.

Actually the last time I got my prescription, I had to be informed by the pharmacist that my medical records are private. I also had to sign a book that acknowledged that they told me about this law.
