Donnie Fowler told associates he was leaving over widespread concerns that supporters who used the Internet to draft Clark into the race are not being taken seriously by top campaign advisers. Fowler also complained that the campaign's message and methods are focused too much on Washington, not key states and the burgeoning power of the Internet, said two associates who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Fowler appears to have mistakenly believed that the Clark campaign was for real and not just a set up to thwart Dean. When you don't play the game the way the snakes (Clintons) want you to, you're going to get bitten.

On DU board leftie kool-aid drinkers think a Dean/Clark ticket would be awesome.

They weirdly think this would appeal to the voters who in another breath they describe as fascist 'gun-nut' mysogynist homophobes.
