Although they wont release the actual voring results, 72% of actual voters polled in in the exit poll had an unfavorable opinion of Gray Davis. That's gotta be good news for Arnold and the Repubs.
CNBC says polling reflects people are fed up with Dems and spending $$$$.
Take note Republican Congress! And Pres. Bush!

Good. That reduces the risk for undecided voters to vote for McClintock without fear of throwing the election to Busty.

During an NBC Nightly News discussion between Tom Brokaw and Tim Russert, and while discussing Davis' 72% unfavorable rating, one of them commented (slightly paraphrased), "Gray Davis is so disliked that if he found a cure for AIDS his approval rating would only go up about a point.
To: PhilipFreneau
I heard this one:
Gray Davis is about as popular as a skin rash.
If Herpes and Davis were both on the ballot, it would be a tight race.

Davis is only slight more popular than diarrhea, but diarrhea has the edge in looks.

Take note Republican Congress! And Pres. Bush! The Republican Congress and President Bush must pay very close attention or the Dems will control all three branchs in 2005!

If McClintock and Arnold together poll 50%+ it would be a Republican mandate.
To: Semper Paratus
Together they will poll 60%! Cruz The Snooze wishes he had such a win. The reason he lost is two-fold: he was tied in hip to hip with Gray Davis and he looked like a wimp in addition to bearing the albatross of someone who wanted to keep jacking up taxes and spending.

The 69% AGAINST driver's licenses is a FAR more important mandate. At least in my book. As my CAPS indicate.
Thats a GRANDE mandate FOR border control, against illegal immigration, against laxity in regulating and policing immigration.

72% of actual voters polled in in the exit poll had an unfavorable opinion of Gray Davis. I can't imagine many of those people voting no on the recall.
To: aristeides
No one gets elected with those kind of personal disapproval ratings. Gray Davis was lucky last fall cause he faced a weak opponent. It was a different story this time around.

I hope Arnold rips apart a copy of the LA Times at his victory speech.

I can't imagine many of those people voting no on the recall. It's possible. There may be a decent number of somewhat intelligent Democrats who don't like Davis, but think Bustamante (and certainly any Republican) would be worse.
