Granted, it's tough to tell via TV. But it looked to be only one or two classless schmoes saying I-don't-know-what, though it obviously upset a few Red Sox players. But it did appear that several other fans seemed to be trying to quiet down the bums. I saw the other fans laughing, not trying to diffuse the situation. I thought they were all being jerks. What was there to laugh about when there's a serious injury on the field. They need to go to hockey games.

"I can't think of anything we've done to show them up." Neither can I, Scotty... and thanks for laying down and losing three straight for us Sox fans. You truly couldn't have done less to show us up.
As for your teammates' whine about the Sox celebrating after having come back from the brink of elimination, please... get a life. I mean it. Get a freakin' life, n'kay?
Tell "Pendejo" Tejada he should do it for his kids.

Hudson's brawl injury may have trumped ace By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa
Tuesday, October 7, 2003
Pitcher Tim Hudson got into a barroom brawl with an obnoxious Red Sox fan Friday night - an altercation that may have caused the muscle pull that sent the Oakland A's ace to the showers after just one inning Sunday.
According to witnesses, employees and the loser who started the fight, Hudson was swinging wildly at a fan named Lee while more than a half dozen guys tried to restrain him. The brief free-for-all broke out after Lee, a Roslindale homey who refused to reveal his last name, doused Hudson with a beer at Club Q, upstairs from Hennessy's near Quincy Market.

As an Oakland fan, I'm a lot more offended by Tejada's non-play then I am by anything the Red sox did. Hope the door doesn't hit you in the butt Miguel.

The curse has nothing to do with Ruth-it expired at his death in 1948. The current curse is caused by electing Kennedy's to high offices. As soon as Teddy is out, then Boston will regain her honor.

Most likely he wasn't arrested, but removed from the stadium. Read the back of your ticket next time you're at a major sporting event. Most have a code of conduct on them.
If the guy was intoxicated I wouldn't find it unusual to immediately take control of the situation by whatever means necessary.

Manny wasn't showboating...
As a Tribe fan, I have watched Manny enough to know you are right. He is not smart enough to showboat. He stands there after homeruns because his manager gets caught up in the moment and forgets to tell him to go to first base.

On the other hand, what Manny Ramirez did after hitting that homer was totally unprofessional. There was a time when doing something like that would have earned a player some serious chin music the next time they came up to bat.

I watched. I didn't see anything offensive. Tejada is just a cry-baby who blew the series.
