That wasn't prophecy you heard 10 years ago, but an observation. My view is the 1960's was the proximate cause or start of the "revolution", looking back through the lens of time. Let's be careful not to broad-brush all democrats with this allegation, there are some very fine democrats who are in fact conservative, they just haven't figured it out yet. Inertia is a powerful thing.
