Berserk Left That about says it all!

Armed conflict? They wouldnt be well armed if I remember what their party platform is regarding weapons. They disarmed themselves and now they need to rely on their political enemies to rise up against their political enemies.
Something tells me the left would be the rock throwers of civil unrest.

Not much to disagree with here. There will be no time for victory celebrations. And this is just a prelude to the 2004 presidential race. From ugly to uglier.

They are delusional and arrogant. W is a man truely blessed with his enemies. Having Al Gore to run against made failure almost impossible.
Having an unhinged, nut-job left could do to America what having an unhinged, whacked-out right did to The Wiemar Republic. Dems already have an alarming tendency to use judicial interpretation and litigation to overrule any rule or election they feel harms their cause.
I hope there are some intelligent Democrats around to prevent The Dean Zealots and neanderthal-like Bob Mulhollands from fomenting violence.

If Grey Davis loses today, how will the Angry Left react to yet ANOTHER stunning defeat? In truth, the possible answers worry me. My personal opinion? I think the Angry Left is going to morph faster than the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers into something more like the Engraged Left, or the Berserk Left. In other words a group that loses control entirely.
I can't wait to see the minions melt down.
Better get the wine now. It's gonna be a fun night if Arnold takes the trophy!

They're already enraged. Their rhetoric is borderline psychopathic. Their policies are perilously close to treason. And their furthest out elements already are torching the symbols of middle America (SUVs, homes).

Desperation is an ugly thing.

Well I said this early in the year. The overall goal of Democrats if they lose will be to force the appeal to the SCOTUS. Reminding all Americans of the 2000 election and renewing the hatred among their voters that they stirred up back then. They need massive hatred in order to beat Bush in 2004.
I agree they'll go bezerk. I would not be surprised if we see a lot more violence / assassination attempts in the next year aimed at conservatives.

Theyll do whatever it takes to retain power, and the law or the will of the people will not stand in their way if they can help it. Spot on, but hardly a novel observation. The more interesting question is: when does the insurrection start? The Left are, worldwide, devoid of any admiration for democratic processes within a republican framework, except insofar as said processes may serve their short-term desires. As every careful student of history knows perfectly well, insurrection has always been the chosen tactic of the Left when democratic processes cannot be bent to their purposes.

If this scenario proves to be true then what happens to the radical liberal policies of the left?
Will they be dismantled in short order or left alone to fester like a sore wound?

The Dems became enraged in '94. Their plans to take away firearms and ennable full federal control of the health industry were suddenly in ruins. Many of the low levels and most of the non-Dems who get lumped in with Dems, such as Greens and anti-wars are still enraged, although the top Dems, being flexible and able to adjust to the times pragmatically are adapting well to the new geitzeist.

I'm agreed on all you wrote. The left will be enraged and no holds barred...they may even use such despicable tactics that may cause actual bloodshed. I put nothing out of bounds for them. However, if they lose this
Cali thing, some of them may realize they no longer control as much as they used to, and wise up to the fact.
Interesting times indeed.

This article is true. The left's rhetoric has become increasingly strident to the point where they have almost nowhere else to go, rhetorically speaking, except open rebellion.
Conservatives are not just wrong or evil, they are illegitimate. They are usurpers who have, somehow illegally taken office. The only response to illegal usurpers is to use any means necessary to throw them out, by any means necessary.
And the American Cold Culture War continues.
