[history]
If Proposition 54 fails in today's election, the author and leading proponent of the initiative said he will make another go at banning the state from collecting racial and ethnic data after cleaning up "flawed" and confusing language in the measure.

By all "LameStream" polling data counts -- 54 will fail. I, however, will wait for the results.

I don't get it? What do they want? A picture, pop-up book? I read the prop 54 and understand it completely. THEY DON'T WANT TO UNDERSTAND IT.

Banning the state from collecting and using racial data leaves it powerless to identify and address discrimination in law enforcement, education, housing and employment, she said.
*** Don't want to let go of all those AA priviledges, and bean counting people. The state can't make someone racially identify themselves. The government doesn't let go of power easily. Sounds to me like Ward Connerly got really beat up and buried under a ton of hate mail.

If the recall fails (and maybe if it doesn't) I would advise anyone with a taxable income and a car to get out of that state before it implodes.

Bump for Ward Connerly...one of a few good men in the poltical world.
To: Alia
Ward needs to introduce this in other states where it stands a better chance of passing. I know that "they" say that things start in California and spread to the rest of the states, but it seems almost suicidal to try to start this in a state that is so extremely liberal.

Hmmm... I think it would have a better chance in the southern states and even New York. He should leave it as is. I hate it when people compromise because useful idiots can't read.

The left has as much hate for Ward Connerly, Clarence Thomas, President Bush -- as they have for Rush Limbaugh
The Democrats do not want to let go of an INCOME and POWER stream they've spent so many years building.

Been there, done that. Most the states will hire "in state" before hiring "out of state". Secondarily, if we can't stop or halt the evil ooze here in CA -- it will follow us to the other states. Kinda Like Amity-Dem Horror...

The results will be the results. I'm not about to get bitter. Sometimes, it takes a lot of little steps in order to move big mountains.

I know CA is home to you guys, but I'm really beginning to think that Lex Luthor might have had the right idea in the first Superman movie.
