It depends on if the lib is in the political arena or not. Anyone in politics expects to live in a fishbowl, and takes it as part of the job. Rush isn't in politics per se he just comments on it.

Rush is a radio commentator. He's on the same level with a liberal newspaper commentator who gives his opinions on the OpEd page of your local paper only with a Conservative format.

If that liberal newspaper guy gives an off-base opinion, or has a personal problem, you don't see it spread across the nespapers of the country like Rush has seen. If the liberal newspaper guy has a right to a private life so has Rush.

The only reason that Rush is in the news is because of his Conservative opinions, which are at odds with liberal ideology. If Rush were a liberal none of what you're seeing in the media today would be reported at all, and that tells you something about Rush and the liberal press.

but if that commentator is well known enough you see rush go after them...now,when the dust settles will rush be as compassionate as he wants everyone to be towards him??????
