Gergen now wondering aloud if the "political system"is becoming unhinged, citing CA (no debates, unknown politician); TX (I assume referring to the DEM tactic of leaving town): and FL (referring to the 2000 close race, and intimating without outright assertion that the votes were not properly counted). The term again, "system is unhinged." Give me a break. The system is working, albeit slowly.

Gergen is unhinged.
If Aliens ever landed in DC, Gergen would be the first there kissing their aliens butts for a job.

If the system is becoming unhinged, it is because the voters are become irrate, are storming the door, and are tearing it off by it hinges. It is a good thing.

Gergen's familiarity with basic AP high school level American history is also very limited, judging by his remarks. Campaigns and elections in America have at times throughout our eleven plus score years -- wild, riotious, even murderously violent affairs.
