MY mother was born and raise outside Auburn, but I'm in the sourthern part of the state, too long a drive, besides it's too flat...like the hills and woods of Southern Indiana better.

Auburn, Cord, Duesenburg week in Auburn, IN. I have some connections to that part of the world, and fond memories of wathing the Dusenburgs while the owners were having dinner (bellhhop at Ft. Wayne Marriott Inn, 1970-71)
