So...here is the Philly sports press telling us that Rush WAS RIGHT??????
The liberal sports media just can NOT bear to be called on THEIR racism. And so they had a hissy fit! What a bunch of girls! But in the end, they have to report that what Rush said, was indeed correct!

This year McNabb has thrown five times as many interceptions as touchdowns.

Seems he managed to sneak in there that all the brouhaha may have taken a toll on McNabb. If it were me, I don't think I'd be too keen on someone painting me as a victim to excuse a less-than-optimal performance.

How can this be?
It could not possibly
be that little old Rush did such a number on big McNabb that he played a below par game, could it?
Nah....it must be that Mcnabb IS just average.

the Eagles finally won a game in their new, $512 million playpenI've been trying to find out if this stadiun was privately financed or was the money taken from the taxpayer
The liberal sports media just can NOT bear to be called on THEIR racism.
They are so two-faced. If the Philly press is any thing like the St. Louis press, Rush is Right.

Missouri!!! Just LOVE that state!!!
Yes...I have had my eyes opened with regard to the "sports writer community" this week.....I really never considered them in the "liberal" camp. Just did not pay enough attention, I guess.
But they are predominately liberals pushing an agenda.
They are also totally "pack mentality"
They are also shockingly thinned skined!
To: visualops
Yeah right! Conservative being mean.
That would be the day. And a day I would like to see. But I fear it will not happen as, by nature, conservatives are not mean spirited or vindictive. Just leave us alone and get out of the way.

Is this the large guy that is sometimes on ESPN SportsReporters show? If it is he's about the only guy on that show that I liked.
To: anncoulteriscool
I am not sure what you are asking me. Which guy?
Tom Jackson is a large ex-football player on the show. Altho Rush has spoken very fondly of him, he totally dissed Rush on air yesterday.
Is that the guy you mean?
This article is about the quarterback, McNabb,
To: anncoulteriscool
OH! I just reread...you were asking about Sports Reporters..... I do not watch that but it would seem that this writer might be on that show....someone who watches will ahve to answer.

But they are predominately liberals pushing an agenda. Yes
They are also totally "pack mentality" Yes
They are also shockingly thinned skined! and yes!
I used to like sports but it has become a millstone around our necks. I'd rather go down to the old dirt race track and watch the beat-up stock cars driven by local boys than go to a Rams or Cardinals game.

Among other assertions, Limbaugh the provocateur had said on a pregame TV show, from which he has since resigned, that McNabb was overrated. This charge flew in the face of facts. It was not a charge.
It was an opinion.
The purpose of professional sports is (1) to provide the gambling industry something to bet on and (2) to give brainless people something to express brainless opinions about.
Only completely brainless people would take any of those brainless opinions seriously.

I hear you! I loved sports too but these days, why bother? The real nature of sports has been overcome with money,TV time, political correctness, overpaid idiots, ego driven owners....I could go on, but it is not even worth a good rant!
I'd rather play politics than watch one damn sports event!
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Yes, well....I seem to know plenty of smart people who love sports....but personally, I just do not GET it!
Oh, I GET sports, just not the attraction to it, generally.
To: AlwaysLurking
After the John Rocker, Todd Jones and Jeremy Shockey bashing you should have had this figured out. John Rocker was WAY more right then Rush was and he got crucified.

Yes, well....I seem to know plenty of smart people who love sports....but personally, I just do not GET it! I didn't mean that the people who like sports are necessarily brainless... just that sports are entertainment, not to be taken life-or-death seriously, along with the opinions expressed about sports and sports figures.
But I will say that anyone who does take opinions about sports and sports figures life-or-death seriously is brainless.

Among other assertions, Limbaugh the provocateur had said on a pregame TV show, from which he has since resigned, that McNabb was overrated. This charge flew in the face of facts...McNabb has a hundred million dollar contract for umpteen years with the Eagles and yesterday threw his first TD pass (all of six yards) in 173 tries (last one was in the third to the last game last year) - this "reporter"'s observations fly in the face of facts......
