yes on recall, yes on Terminator. Indeed the words of a wise man, and excellent guidance. Bump.

I spent my afternoon yesterday at the final stop on Arnold's campaign trail - the San Bernardino Airport. I heard what he said then - and I have since watched what little the media has said about that stop. It's really a crying shame, when you get down to it. Having been a newsprint reporter (and still being a freelancer), it hurts to watch.

From standing and watching, I can say with all honesty that there were dozens of television cameras there. There were dozens of photographers there. Heck, there was probably in the vicinity of three thousand or more people who came to attend and to support Arnold, not counting the campaign workers - these were off-the-street people. Some heard about it from their kids, who heard about it at school; others got pamphlets distributed, or picked up an informational leaflet at Republican offices. Still others just happened to be driving by and stopped to join in.

Yet, having watched the local 5am news reports, they basically blipped past Arnold, then focused on everything Bustamante and Davis were doing on their respective campaign trails yesterday. They announced the locations of both the Democrat number-watching events for this evening, yet they seemingly forgot to say where Arnold or McClintock would be.

We have to send a message to the media, to the Democrat party, and to the rest of California. This just can't continue.

This morning, I will be helping to man the phone lines at a local Republican office, wearing my brand new Join Arnold t-shirt that I printed an iron-on transfer for last night. (Incidentally, you can download the bumper sticker image on Arnold's website, and it makes for a great t-shirt transfer. I did shirts for the hubby and kid, too, just for fun.) I hope many others get out and be active in promoting the Arnold vote, however they can.

Thanks for starting this thread, Jim... now's really the time that we all must focus our energies upon taking the state back out of the hands of the lying and greedy, and putting it squarely in the hands of someone who can do some good with it. Nobody's perfect... but Arnold's a heckuva lot better than the Democrat alternatives.
