having an affair with a Chinese woman Donna Chang?
To: txflake
Saw it earlier. Besides a head shake, I had nothing to add.

You posed some interesting questions - questions I'd like to see our press ask.
It will be interesting to see how hard DOJ goes after this.

Seems odd to me that an operation this sensitive would be run out by the Phoenix U.S. Attorney and FBI field office.
Like a lot of you, I am guessing there is more to this story.

Rush is reading this on the air right now. He says he "doesn't know what to make of this"... "bizarre".

This stuff was reported well over a year ago. Don't know why it's being re-reported now. There's nothing new here.

Something else is going on here.It is rather weird to see this info resurfacing. This Ellen guy is obviously a first-class scumbag, as the best snitches often are. Yet the article is written in an apparent attempt to make Williams out to be the bad guy.
[Ellen] provided an account of the operation at a friend's closed immigration court proceeding.
BTW, that "friend" is the suspected Chinese spy, Joanna Xie, with whom he had the affair which supposedly caused his falling out with the FBI.

I thought some of this is familiar. I also have a hard time believing that $5,000 or less was involved. I assume this story is now being published for a reason.

I assume the FBI had some stuff to say at the suspected spy's deportation hearing as to why she shouldn't be allowed to stay in the U.S. In turn, Ellen had to to discredit the FBI (not hard to do, needless to say) in hopes of preventing the deportation. The DOJ just recently began an investigation of the moonlighting and other stuff that Ellen alleged during the hearings. I'm guessing that the new DOJ investigation is probably the reason this info is being rehashed in the press now.

This seems to begin to tie together Clinton's Chinese dealings with the Middle East terrorism attack. At least indirectly. First time I've seen that, although I shouldn't be surprised.

Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, said in an interview that the White House wasn't informed of the FBI activities. "We were not aware of any such operation," Berger said. Was this said before or after he pinched secret documents in his britches?
