[history]
If Davis is recalled, one of the major stories on Wednesday might be the number of people who fail to vote for a candidate on the replacement portion of the ballot. This number could approach 10 percent of the electorate, which, depending on the turnout, would be somewhere between 800,000 and 1.2 million voters. And most of them are likely to be Democrats who vote no on the recall and then skip Question 2.

Q2 skippers may well equal the number of votes McClintock receives.

I would like to take a moment to ask for donations.
It should be clear to all conservatives by now that the left intends to demonize us. They don't just disagree with us, they hate us. And worse, they want to get other people to hate us.
Places like Free Republic drive the left batty.
Please donate. Thanks for your consideration.

Oh man, does this mean there will be a recount? You better believe it!
"I didn't want the recall, but I was too stupid to read the instructions, so I got disenfranchised!"

The basis of a typical based on emotion RAT legal challenge.

I'm not getting your point.

I'm not getting your point. The number of Democrats skipping question2 because they're disgusted with the choice of Bustamante may equal the number of Republicans voting for McClintock because they're disgusted with the choice of Arnold. In other words, a wash.

I thought the official Dem line was to vote no on recall, period. Isn't that what Davis wants?

Every vote for *McCLINTOCK* is a vote for *DAVIS*.
To: John Jorsett
People who try and vote (or are paid to vote) for demonrats are notoriously stupid anyway so, Let's expect a lot of dis-infranchised" folks: ones that did not get a chance to vote because they felt "threatened", the ones who did not "understand" how to vote, the ones who couldn't find the name of their candidate....
I'm stocking up on puke bags so I'll be able to watch the news on wednesday....

Exactly WRONG, because every vote for McClintock is a "YES ON RECALL" vote.
If Tom had dropped out, the recall would already be going down in flames.
To: John Jorsett
I think McClintock is going to surprise some people. When people get in the booth, they might just decide to vote for the best candidate. We'll see.

VOTE YES ON RECALL!
VOTE YES ON 54!
Then vote for Tom or Arnold.
Just make sure that Cruz will lose.

Then vote for Tom or Arnold. But not Tom Arnold.

Exactly WRONG, because every vote for McClintock is a "YES ON RECALL" vote. Not really... Both my parents voted NO on Recall, and voted for McClintock on Q2 (absentee). Not sure why though. Then again, they voted for Davis in 2002. Go figure.

They announced on Armstrong and Getty this morning that Yolo county has started counting the absentee ballots, and there's already a high number of overvotes - more than one vote for the replacement governor, which invalidates the ballot.
It's been suggested that Doofus Davis has actually instructed his minions to deliberately vote incorrectly, to gum up the works and force more court cases based on 'disenfranchisement'.

Exactly. Everyone get out and vote, anyway.

They announced on Armstrong and Getty this morning that Yolo county has started counting the absentee ballots, I'm surprised to hear this. I wouldn't have thought they would be permitted to open the absentees until the polls open on Tuesday morning.
