I had a similar experience in a hospital waiting room recently. The TV was
blaring CNN so loudly I was unable to read, and literally every newsbite I heard was egregiously biased leftward. I finally couldn't take it anymore and found a chair in a hall where I could sit and read in peace.
But as I left the waiting room I looked around at some two dozen people just sitting there, placidly letting those biased words wash over them, oblivious, apparently, to the way the days events were being spun by the political activists at CNN. It was one of those despair-for-humanity moments.
