There's the problem right there. This is a division between moderate and conservative Republicans. Moderates may very well agree with Arnold on 75% of the issues, but conservatives simply do not.

Conservatives don't have to "toe the line" or "march in lockstep" and follow the "party line." That is the great thing about being a conservative, we have the ability to think and make choices. Unlike so many on the left that are required to follow the party line we are not. If we must follow the strick "conservative line" then we must redefine what being conservative means.
