New anti-Arnold commercial
Posted on 10/06/2003 9:49:02 AM PDT by Hildy
Just saw the new anti-Arnold commercial. It goes something like this: Close-ups of women against a white backdrop.
Voice over: If you have a wife, a mother, a sister, if you know a woman from work then...
YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGER.
Blah blah blah...and then they have a quote from an interview in some entertainment magazine about sticking a woman's head down a toilet. But with no explanation that it was from a movie. It's outrageous and despicable. How low will these people go.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: election; recall; schwarzenegger

If they want to quote the NY Times, then they will have to admit that the Times retracted their Hitler story. But, wait! That doesn't fit in with the agenda, does it? Oh, well.
To: redlipstick
LOL! Colorful expression I hadn't heard...your mom got it right too. I despise whining women who seem to enjoy being victims.
To: Carolinamom
A normal woman does not claim that she has been haunted or deeply hurt by a guy grabbing thier butt 20 years ago. If she feels that way, she needs some real help.
To: Howlin
You're the one telling the citizens of your state that their opinion isn't the right one, not me. You are the one whining about their "right to be wrong" abject nonsense.
And he's not MY guy; I live in North Carolina.
But of course he's your guy, you've been arguing on here against criticism of (R)nold on here for months...
But if you'd rather have Davis, just keep it up!
Its back to Davis now? I thought the Talking Point was McClintock=Bustamante. Oh well, forgot to check the fax machine the past few days...Tell me, since you left it out in your response, Do even FATHOM why I am fighting against his so called Republican "leadership?"
Do you even FATHOM what your guy is going to do about the -$38.2 Billion debt currently in limbo in illegal Loans?

Practice with me now, Governor Schwarzenegger. Kinda rolls off the tongue, huh. Are you going to support his effort to clean up Sacramento, or are you going to be a constant whiner, harper and carper? Please post more deceitful pictures, they tell your story so well.

They didn't RETRACT the Hitler story.
They clarified it... as confirmed by Arnold's campaign.
Schwarzenegger said: In many ways I admired people. It depends for what. I admired Hitler for instance because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. And I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for his way of getting to the people and so on. But I didnt admire him for what he did with it. It is very hard to say who I admired and who are my heroes. And I admired basically people who are powerful people, like Kennedy. Who people listen to and just wait until he comes out with telling them what to do. People like that I admire a lot.

Nope, just responding on a thread. He is not Mr New Republican, he is the Rennaisance Republican! He's the catalyst for the restoration of the Republican Party, a new party where intolerance and hate are not welcome. What are you going to do to help Governor Schwarzenegger to restore California?

The only scandal that will be able to stop Arnold is a picture of him in bed with a dead woman or a live boy. Sorry, TheDon, I'm sure the rah-rah Republicans who just want to win will find some way to excuse him ... after all, if the fact that he refuses to take a no tax pledge, refuses to get behind the referenda on SB60, and surrounds himself with liberal Democrat advisors don't make them run away screaming, why would a dead woman? She probably was a Democrat plant who was going to die of cancer anyway ...

And I certainly wasn't reading these "to the death" posts before that. After what I've read on here the last day or so, no false accusation would surprise me.

I'd like to add a few pictures of "big" names from the Valley to your rogue's gallery - those who used to be conservatives but who got in line to stab McClintock in the back in favor of a guy who has never won a Republican primary. Bill Jones, Mike Der Manouel Jr., and Jane Parsons come to mind. God have mercy on California.

(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)
To: PhiKapMom
Everytime I have posted the facts about Arnold Schwarzenegger's positions on the issues, no one responds. It's as if everyone has been brainwashed by the mantra, "But he can win."
You and everyone else are entitled to their opinion. I have never criticized anyone for holding an opinion different than me, even when they are wrong. But the responses I get are, "Well, your vote for Tom McClintock is a vote for Cruz Bustamante."
No one seems willing to argue the issues, discuss the very serious issues facing California. We are in serious trouble, folks. If Arnold had real solutions to the very real problems, I would seriously give him a looksee. But he doesn't. He hasn't given us anything by which to hang our hat. One conservative friend of mine told me, At least we'll get something, even 10% is better than what we have now.
Unfortunately, the Sacramento Bee was right when they said only with a liberal Republican governor can the Legislature pass more taxes. Will you still be singing his praises then? After all, you just want to win.

Then please tell me how Tom came within 1/10 of a percent of winning in 2002. If the GOP had not dumped a million in the lost cause candidacy of proabortion candidate Gary Mendoza, and given Tom just a third of that.
Now as far as your calendars go, do tell me who does better in general elections prolife, or pro-abortion Republicans? based on your reasonsing the pro-abortion statewide Republican nominees come closest winning right?
