TDTESS was on AMC last Friday, friends I was having dinner with didn't understand why I wanted to watch it. Shoot, that flick was only one of about 25 films that they showed on 'Saturday Night at the Movies', back when that was the only primetime movie on TV.

I watched it Friday that's why it was fresh in my head. My wife couldn't understand WHY I would want to watch this movie. I'd say it's one of my all time favorites.
