I'll have to dig it up, but I think you and I have had this very same conversation in the past, so that's sort of surprising to me. This debate is not new to either of us, and I have no desire to renew it. You're on your side and I am on mine.
However, if you were to ask the others who attended, INCLUDING JimRob, who, assuming he has good eyesight and was paying attention, was in a position to notice (I was in the back and could also notice the number of people on their feet in cheerful applause), that most of those were very receptive to Keyes' message. There was a Republican Party operative at my table (she was an assistant, I think to state Senator Jane Nelson), who did not seem to appreciate the speech. She was the only one at the table who didn't, though. She was in a very small minority, from the appearance of it.
