I am interested in objective reality and not transitory subjective opinion. I do not doubt that I am in disagreement with the sentiment of a California sooooo damaged by Wilson and then by Doofus and by its lunatic gerrymandered legislature that Arnold (controlled by Wilson) looks like relief.

That tripling of the car tax is undoubtedly a major burden. Since it was unilaterally imposed by Doofus by fiat, it is also undoubtedly illegal. I understand that in the People's Republic of Gollyvornia, Doofus has governed on the Clintonian basis of "I'll do what I please unless and until the judiciary can figure out how to stop me." People are very angry about the car tax now but their interest of the week will soon fade into other issues and trendiness when it is restored to the status quo ante. This is especialy true when the politician class including Arnie and Wilson revert to type to quietly stripmine them while diverting their attention with circus acts. There is an enire jukebox of oldies (energy costs, union-bashing, Wilson's patented Latino loathing and stirring up of racism among clueless Republicans, etc.) If I sound cynical, it is only because I am. In this case, cynicism is realism.

I have spent over thirty years now bleeding over pro-life. It is not a blind rage. It is actually a well-informed rage. I am really not interested in entertaining as respectable any argument that the unborn are not fully human, distinct from every other human including their parents, and absolutely entitled (other than an IMMINENT PHYSICAL LIKELHOOD of the mothers' death) to live even if inconvenient to parents and even if abortionists like Gloria Allred's husband make a fortune as paid hitmen (and women) slaughtering the children of others for a fat fee. I used to be "pro-choice" until, as a law student, I read that POS called Roe vs. Wade. If that is the best that Herod Blackmun and seven shades of gray on SCOTUS could do to justify abortion, they failed.

I am sorry that you see a determination against abortion and lavenderism (and therefore Catholicism) as a "blind rage concentration." If the average Gollyvornian does not yet see Arnie as a threat on moral issues or otherwise and they have so soon forgotten what Wilson was and is, fine. It is a democracy. Elect Arnie and suffer at leisure. You will get what you collectively deserve. Reality is not modified by the subjective "wishn' and hopin'" of fiscally brutalized Gollyvornians. You don't believe it now but I hope you will have the honesty to admit when it becomes obvious that Arnie is no good on fiscal issues either. Arnie is to Wilson as Octavian was to Julius, as Nitti was to Capone, etc.

Latinos will have their grandchildren aborted when Arnie continues the regime (whatever he may say now) of public skewels utterly incapable of competent teaching but very capable of helping little thirteen-year-old Maria to avoid all those ugly recriminations at home over her pregnancy. Off to kindly Dr. Allred or one of his colleagues and another innocent Latino kid is sliced, diced and hamburgerized and the parents who pay the taxes for the skewels are kept utterly in the dark unless, of course, little Maria dies of a punctured uterus or it is later discovered that she has been rendered sterile (hear the wild cheering of Wilson and Buffett and their racist Planned Barrenhood buddies) but, hey, it couldn't be avoided, right? If, God forbid, this should happen to a girl you know, you will probably experience what you too snidely reference as "blind rage."

As to your last paragraph, time will tell. If Arnie turns out to be almost vaguely civilized on social issues or even minimally well-meaning on fiscal issues (which means cutting spending not raising taxes), you may look for my concession as to either to be posted right here. I hope I may expect from you frank concessions of your deep disappointment and feelings of betrayal after Arnie governs as Wilson did. Wilson very effectively alienated the socially conservative future majority of Gollyvornians who are Latino.

Arnold has already alienated another minority group, American Indians.

The Big Tent is a great success, isn't it?

Thank you for the exposition of you views. You have certainly made clear where you stand.

As to Arnold, we will see how he turns out.

Stay well.
