And don't forget that those were the very people who after Philly backed George W. Bush, worked their hearts out in the political trenches, and held the right flank of the Party firm to defeat Al Gore.

No it is not, and I admire Keyes for his principled positions and his promoting them to the public.

However, it comes down to the fact that Conservatives ALONE do not have the numbers to win major elections.
