McClintock Does Conservatives No Favor

Tom McClintock believes he is helping the conservative cause in California by staying in the governor's race. The state senator from Thousand Oaks couldn't be more wrong.

Attempting to recall Gov. Gray Davis is a risky business. Many people, including U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, who helped finance the effort, have considered voting against the recall just to avoid the chance of electing Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante to the state's top job. Davis has failed as governor, but he has steered a moderately liberal course so he could continue to raise money from big business. Bustamante, however, has made no effort to disguise his disdain for business owners and will move state policy sharply to the left on all fronts.

Kalifornia is in DEEEEEP doo-doo.

When it comes right down to it, Arnold isn't conservative enough to implement the necessary changes. So what if he "wins"??? The state will still go down the tubes. Kalifornia needs greater change than what Arnold proposes to turn itself around.

I will personally never forgive him if he subjects us to a Democratic win!!!!!!!! I will have to move out of this state and that is not an idle threat. The cost of everything here is beyond what I can pay. There are no decent jobs and I don't speak Spanish.

Maybe Tom will help me with moving expenses.

It's possible, even likely that Arnold will win, but it's NOT assured -- especially considering the Dem dirty tricks and election fraud.

Arnold needs to win and win decisively, with a landslide.

A vote for McClintock is still a vote for Bustamante and it may STILL throw the election to Bustamante. Polls have been wrong before -- and they don't take into account all the illegals voting for the Democrat.

This piece could not be more wrong or outdated.

And he won't be a spoiler, because Cruz Bustamante cannot win this election. But with the grope charges, Hitlermania, etc., "NO" could still win the election, and it WILL win if McClintock gets out.

McClintock's staying in the race, giving true conservatives a reason to vote, will ultimately be what saves the recall from Davis's slime campaign.

Another hit piece on conservatve Tom McClintock from the centrist Arnoldnauts, aka. Arnie's Androids.

Schwarzenegger is a moderate Republican on social issues and a fiscal conservative.

Schwarzenegger is a self-professed "social liberal" and on issues related to fiscal conservatism, he still hasn't measured up. Arnie won't take a no tax pledge and he still refuses to release specifics of his economic recovery plan.

Arnie is a political liberal and has more in common with the politics of Ted Kennedy, Tom Daschle and John Kerry, then he'll ever have in common with the politics of Dick Cheney, George W.Bush and Ronald Reagan.
