Haven't been able to download it yet, server too busy, it seems. Might be good if it's not too bloated.

Click the link, the article has several hyperlinks.

Nice utility. Discovered it a few weeks ago. Photoshop is the only Adobe product I use.

Adobe needs to be careful. If history is a guideline, once a software company starts giving away software for free, the Justice Department will sue them to protect us consumers.

I'm a Corel person myself. I'm the only one I know of.

I'm with you. I've been happily using Draw and Photopaint for years. I'm currently using version 9. For all the copies they've sold, I've always wondered why I'm the only person I know that uses Photopaint instead of Photoshop. I've always considered Photopaint an excellent program.

Based on my experience with Acrobat 6.0, it will be a while before I take anything else from Adobe that's free.

Photopaint is a good program, but Adobe rules the professional shops. Once you learn a tool it's hard to change.

I hear you on that. Huge program. I installed it, then uninstalled it and went back to the previous version.

Warning to dialup users: I can't get the download started. Maybe they're swamped. But the "Help" file alone, a PDF, is 14.5 MB's!

I use PhotoPaint 10. I've been using CorelDraw for years. In fact, I got version 10 free because I was a beta tester. It is a nice program, and uses all the filters that are available for Photoshop.
