Having lived in Germany for 10 years now...I can attest to the fact that Germans are manipulated on a daily basis and over 70 percent cannot think for themselves. Its a educational thing...they push technical knowledge for the bulk of society with very little taught in history or geography. Everyone counts on these magazines or the 8pm news to ensure they are kept updated on the world. The typical German is usually shocked when I can counter their argument without using any news from the prior evening newscasts. They always want to dispute facts unless its on the 8pm news show.

Uffda is all I can think! Germans, I guess, don't care to learn about their own country's history. No wonder; I wouldn't want to be associated with their history either.
