With all due respect to my fellow conservatives, anyone who sincerely thinks that Arnold will be good for Califorinia or good for America needs to think again. This overstuffed, brainless babboon found his place in life by standing in front of a camera lens and thumping his oily chest. If he's the best that "conservatives" have to offer, we're all in trouble.DITTO!!!!

The "buffoon" writes books in English and he writes books in German.
Good books too!
Writers always have this problem with the keepers of public morals.

I'd destroy this party before I see it taken over by Tom Tancredo. Not surprising, being that you support Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey.

Let us be clear: Arnold Schwarzenegger supports an amnesty program.Get ready California, if this guy gets ELECTED and is then unaccountable...for the Doublt Talking of your life.
FYI mrustow, on that "wizard" buffoon, trust your instincts, I've "debated" that thing before and watched it have complete and total RINO meltdown, it is a outright liberal 5th Columnist within the GOP.

People need to read what Schwarzenegger says on joinarnold.com.
On illegal immigration, Arnold says "[l]et me be clear: I do not support an amnesty program". Arnold then goes onto to say: "Deportation is not an option. We need to find a way to legitimize these individuals and get them on a path toward legal residency status in the United States". Arnold also says: "Washington should pursue a responsible immigration policy that offers undocumented immigrants a path to permanent legal status".
That's called amnesty folks.
In addition, Arnold mentions nothing about cutting taxpayer funding for social welfare programs that are being utilized by both illegal aliens and societal deadbeats. Arnold wants the federal governemnt to pick up more of the costs for California's illegal immigrants. As governor, Arnold would do nothing to cut back on social spending, specifically education expenditures.

He'll spend even more on education -- he likes to strut about what a great supporter of education he is.

I support immigration reform, meaning, I support better border control. I do not support slamming our doors shut to the world because of some nebulous "Western Culture" nonsense.Merely engaging in better border patrol was an option 20 years ago. Today, either we slam our door shut, or first the door frame will get broken, and then the entire house flattened.

Why do we need immigration reform to enforce existing laws? To me, immigration reform sounds more like finding a way to legitimize lawlessness.Your first question raises an excellent point. When existing laws are flouted by the authorities responsible for their enforcement, it takes a reform movement 1. simply to force the authorities to do their jobs, and 2. to repair the damage their negligence has done.
As for your second question, I have no idea what you're referring to, with "lawlessness."

Well, what should they do, act as if 20% of the American population doesn't exist? Would that make you happy?I have no idea what you're talking about. Illegal immigrants are estimated to comprise between 8 million and 12 million people in America. There are 290 million people in America, including illegals. That makes for an illegal immigrant rate of 2.7-4%, not 20%.
So, I've determined that not only do you dislike the law, but you're not on speaking terms with the facts, either. Now that I'm clear about these matters, yes, I'm happy.

Only problem is, the illegal Mexicans are still going to vote for Democratic Party I.Mexico has free democratic elections. All anyone needs to do is look at the way the Mexican people have voted back home ----- for leftist marxists must like Bustamante and Davis, look at their recent elections ---- they've taken a sharp left turn ---- why anyone thinks these are people who are likely to vote Republican is way beyond belief.
And the socialists they vote for in Mexico, keep them in dire poverty! Ain't it always like that? Anyway, you need to give George W. Bush and Karl Rove a good talking-to.

It was SB60 that made the CLINTONS go to CA to campaign for Grey Davis. Al Gore did this in 2001 when they rushed through all the immigrant papers - so they could vote for Clinton. Janet Napolitano is trying to do this in AZ. Call your Congressmen and Senators today to Stop Illegal Immigration and NO to giving them drivers licenses! Call the White House comment line and say the same thing.I think your year is a bit off. What Al Gore did was in 1995 or 1996, no?

SOMEBODY needs to fis it and so far Tancredo is one of the few who have been willing to recognize that the emperor has no clothes, i.e. the the GOP is pandering to illegals at the expense of national security.Exactimiento! If we wait for a perfect gentleman, we're lost. Besides, I don't know that Tancredo is such a bad guy, for a politician.

Because he is a demagogue, and I don't like demagogues.
Your #2: "I'd destroy this party before I see it taken over by Tom Tancredo." That's not demagoguery?

I see what you mean, re the "wizard." Not only is he nasty, but he just conjures up numbers (i.e., that illegal immigrants comprise 20% of the U.S. population) out of thin air.

Who is Tom Tancredo?
To: TheCrusader; All
Your jealousy is showing ???
Davis is the worse govenor we have ever had, Gary Coleman would do a better job than Davis. Maybe you should think illegals should get a legal Drivers License, but many of us Californian's don't! One case impaticular is an illegal who shot and Killed a rookie Oceanside Police officer for a minor traffic stop. 3 times he has been caught in this country and now we can pay for his sorry butt in a U.S prison.
And I guess you could care-less about the thousands of people that are out of work that cannot pay there outraegous electric bills or are planning to register there vehicles in Arizona and Nevada since they cannot afford triple the fees!
Yeah Davis is a real brainy bafoon
