" . . . all those other tons and liters of WMDs Bush talked about . . . "

And Clinton talked about and Hans Blix talked about. The belief in saddam's WMD programs was widespread and not confined to the Bush administration. And from what Kay has found so far, it is clear that Saddam was ready to ramp up his weapons programs on the day after U.N. inspectors declared he was clean and went home. His intent was to wear down the will of the U.N. to monitor him, then start right up again once they gave up. That was Clinton's belief, and Bush shared it.

And Clinton talked about and Hans Blix talked about.

And the left wing here, France, and Germany wasted plenty of valuable time screwing around and allowed Saddam to hide them.
We'll find them, even if he shipped them to Syria. Once Iraqi's feel secure enough, they'll talk.
Good things come to those who wait.

....Now, now Steve Seattle...Mr. billbears seems to have a good handle on things and if he believes we are not in trouble an we should not fear any weapons Iraqi weapons program I believe him. After all he must be much smarter then Mr. Kay or any other interested party including our President (and in minimal respect the UN). We certainly are very unfortunate he is not our Presdient as I would feel a whole lot safer and no doubt he would have avoided us having to go to war.
