My problem is with the over the top analogy that a vote for McClintock dooms the War on Terror. As I said in my previous post, that's probably one of the most asinine and idiotic statements I've ever come across on FR.

Not really. The reality is, that if Arnold loses, it will because of only two things, either Davis wins the recall vote, or Cruz Bustamonte wins part II. Tom McClintock is not even in the picture. If either of those two Democrats wins, the floodgates of "undocumented immigrants" will not be open, no not that, the dam itself will be destroyed. Both Gray and Cruz's actions show that they intend to drive businesses out of the state and the middle class with them and replace them with immigrants from Mexico, that they can dominate. California will, merely as a byproduct, become the most terrorist-friendly state in the union.

The previous posters point had nothing to do with immigration but rather with a convoluted theory regarding the War on Terror and how a McClintock spoiler would hamper it.

Be that as it may, what has Arnold had to say regarding illegals, driver's lis. and their use of govt aid? Is he going to crack down on illegals? How does his views differ from McClintock and Busty?

NathanR -I have considered the illegal immigration issue somewhat obliquely, i.e., as it relates to 1. voter fraud, 2. the dangerous Davis de facto id and 3. the terrorist subset. Regarding these issues, the impact of the clintons cannot be ignored. (They understand that controlling CA is essential for clinton redux and that the illegal immigrant vote is key.)

The clintons have virtually institutionalized illegal immigrant voter fraud in CA. Recall, for example, the clinton letter to Latinos that contained an outrageous facsimile voter card begging to be misused. The dems have a reservoir of fraudulent voters--illegal immigrants, poor minorities, nursing-home residents, etc.--who can be "dragged and dropped" as needed. ("Just in time" voter fraud!) (Didn't hillary's tally in fact exceed voter registration in one NY district?)

Regarding the welcoming of the terrorist subset, recall that clinton-clinton-gore pushed for and got the naturalization of thousands of rapists and murderers just in time for the '96 election... And according to David Schippers, these criminals went on to rape and murder in America. .

Regarding KB's comments, I will only say that refuting an argument by calling it "asinine and idiotic" hardly qualifies as legitimate, intelligent criticism.
