Davis just signed a bill that requires a magazine safety, which effectively bans many handguns. The silence has been deafning.
I'll have to buy one of the S&W 1911s before the law takes effect I guess. :-)

That's going to be a big surprise to my buddies who sell guns. Their stores are loaded w/handguns.

Maybe she's talking about the safety tests. I had a devil of a time locating a couple of handguns that weren't on the list. Had to wait until private individuals sold on consignment. Now, the guns are so valuable, I'm afraid to shoot them.

Davis signed the law today banning sales of roughly 85% of handguns in the state of CA. Arnold would not, and will not be able to overturn this law. He will have his veto overrided most probably. He wouldn't dare consider reversing the law anyway.
