You just can't accept that McClintock cannot win.

I accept that.

Why vote for someone who cared not a whit about Clinton's behavior and said he was ashamed to be a Republican.

How can you vote for someone who said publicly in a magainze interview:

I was ashamed to call myself a Republican during that period...Instead of devoting all this energy and all these hearings to how we're going to solve the problems of the inner cities . . . No, it's like, 'This man has to be removed from office because he's a national threat.' Yeah, that's a good one.

Solving the inner city problems -- yeah, that's a good one.

If you think someone who could not recognize Clinton as a national threat, be my guest.

I won't.

I am disappointed that he did not support impeachment. He was wrong. He is wrong on many issues. At least I'm glad you recognize that Tom will not be elected governor in this cycle.

So what do we now do? Let the RATS keep spending us into bankruptcy? A principled vote is fine. I can respect it. Unfortunately, our state will never get its bond ratings up until someone with fiscal responsibility is in charge. I hope Arnold can do that. For the first time in my life, and I've lived here since 1953, I have given serious consideration to leaving California. The RATS and the illegal invasion are making life almost intolerable. If Arnold is the only one who can win, I want him to have a chance. I hope the party can get him on the right side of some of the social issues.
