It wouldn't matter if he had a record setting game or a poor one...Rush's comments were pointed at the media. McNabb's future on field play (good or bad) will not vindicate Rush. "It's the media Stupid" is my new battle cry...On a related note...Go look at a magizine rack, the media has it in for our troops. I'm sorry to say.

Point well taken. Even a great day wouldn't change the fact that McNabb has been treated with kid gloves since Day 1.

And it's a pattern. Kordell Stewart was given a pass for many years before Pittsburgh gave up on him.

As to your take on the media and our troops, I honestly can't stand to have a TV or radio on during the news, it's so pititful. We need to re-embed a bunch of reporters. It's so obvious that they want us to fail that it makes me sick.

Yeah, but "Rush insults media" wouldn't create an hysterical outpouring like "Limbaugh makes racist remarks" does.

Except that everytime McNabb validates the mediocre tab on the field, the media validates their bias by ignoring McNabb's mediocrity. The whole thing is laughable.
