You and I probably agree.

Probably so. I didn't meant to imply that it is unimportant for Christians to vote and avidly participate in the political process. What I did mean is that having done all we can reasonably do in the political realm to sustain our nation's moral stature, we must then take our hands off the process and allow God in his infinite wisdom to determine the outcome. I guess you could say I just don't believe it is ever right to do wrong even if the short term outcome seems favorable to our cause.

His ways are not always our ways, but in his omniscience he always knows what is ultimately best even if we can't see it at the time. My philosophy concernng politics is vote however I believe will please him and he will always do what he knows will best serve his ultimate purpose.
