When you are examining your G.O.P. script for the "correct" answer, think about what they aren't telling you.

You have alienated half of your conservative base.

You are in danger of putting a Kennedy scion on the road to the White House.

You are forgetting the Arnold already had one aborted run for governor - terminated because of another scandal that hasn't been discussed by the LA Times - yet. He was tainted goods a long time ago.

You now have a man whose credibility will be questioned endlessly by his Dem. opponents if he gets into office and tries to push through anything remotely resembling a Republican agenda.

The CA G.O.P. hopes to create a self-fullfilling prophesy - through the hard efforts of people like yourself, carrots dangled in front of key people and about $18 million dollars.

The final and only real poll is in two days. The poll that will reflect all the undecideds and new voters - whose voices have never been counted. Scary, isn't it?
