[history]
The Golden State - once a symbol of optimism and opportunity for the rest of the nation - has become a very angry place.
Californians are angry at each other and at the people who are supposed to be running things.

I don't know any people who aren't energized about this recall election. I have a store in an area of San Diego called La Mesa. This weekend we're having an Oktoberfest Street Party. It's the largest in Southern California (over 150,000 people are expected to attend over the three days). Join Arnold has a table and I have to tell you that about 50% of the people are putting on their Arnold buttons. The Dems just hate this because we're energized. We're the party of change, and their the party of corruption. Let them eat their hearts out.

truly representative
The same can be said for the polls, imo.
Vote your conscience, not your IQ, California.

We left San Diego during the Clintoon years. I worked for a major defense contractor. Mega industrial jobs went bye bye then and nobody cried.
We left because the immigration policy was going beserk. The INS was trying to stop the flow while the Californicators in the legislature were enabling it. You cans still see the street signs that warn of illegal aliens running across I-5.
We left because the tax rate was climbing along with entitlements but there was no perceived benefit for the taxpayers.
We left because our taxes were subsidizing the hispanic birth rate while the roads were falling in disrepair.
We left because our representatives were caving to the Gay lobby, the hispanic lobby, the anti-war lobby, the environmentalists and Jesse Jackson's extortion. They never paid any attention to the actual majority in the state.
We left in 1992. It took the rest of the voters in the state 11 years to "get it".
We will probably never move back but anything has to be better for California than "the Gray Davis scam". I wish Arnold the best of luck.

Hey, if Arnie can use his folks in Austria as support for how he will govern here, I thought I would reflect some of my ancestral beginnings as well. ;-)

Last gasp for CA. if Dems retain power the next election cycle will include illegial alien voters; all of which will be promiced other people's riches if the just vote for the Rats. The numbers will overwhelm the tax paying public and the Rats will be awarded a legitimate license to steal.
