I disagree with you on one point. Legal immigrants being on welfare has nothing to do with this issue which is illegal aliens entering the US. I don't like anyone on welfare. However, if a person is paying taxes, they are paying into the system and like or not, welfare is an 'entitlement' to a legalized immigrant and a citizen.HOWEVER, I'd like to know why City of New York is advertizing the 'food card' to 'immigrants without fear'. Anyway, I've not a problem with putting more regulations on legal immigration. That certainly would lower immigration numbers.
