Kobe Bryant returned to the basketball court Saturday, admittedly out of shape and scared about what lies ahead for his family as his rape case proceeds.

Bryant reported to the Los Angeles Lakers' training camp a day late because he said he was "under the weather." He also said he wanted to remain with his family as long as possible.

Someday when this is all over, Kobe will have learned about the real value of his family and what it is to be a husband and father, but right now it's time to paint a good picture of the home life and slime the accuser.

<"They had nothing to do with this, but just because their names have been dragged in the mud I'm scared for them."

Yeah, right! He's not blaming himself for what he did....he sounds like he's blaming the media for dragging his family's names through the mud !

Who's fault is it Kobe? Yours.

Who was away from home for 1 night (no, only a few hours) and couldn't control himself and had to have sex? You, Kobe.

And Who couldn't control himself and had to beat up the girl, which led to all this? You, Kobe

So Who's fault is all this Kobe? ........

I guess if he had kept it in his pants, we'd have less to talk about and his family wouldn't have to worry, eh?

If the name of the accuser is to be withheld, Bryant's name should not have been released to the public. This double standard is shockingly unjust and utterly inexcusable.

And how is it that his family is 'dragged thru the mud'

He cared not much for his family when he decided that sex with a stranger was more important than his family ties.

He would now have us forget that little fact?

You might want to think that one through a bit more. Would you want to live under a "justice" system where you could be arrested and charged with a crime, but the police never inform the public that they have done so? I woudn't.

He is a dirty rapist just like Clinton. And if I were on Kobe's jury I would excuse myself, and pronto.
