[history]
ATLANTA -- A sweeping federal review of the nation's gun control laws -- including mandatory waiting periods and bans on certain weapons -- found no proof such measures reduce firearm violence.
The review, released Thursday, was conducted by a task force of scientists appointed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC said the report suggests more study is needed, not that gun laws don't work. But the agency said it has no plans to spend more money on firearms study.

Isn't it interesting the spin the author tries to put on "inconsistent" and "poorly done" studies when the results are not what the agenda wants or expects?
And their first thought is to throw more money at it until the spin doctors get it right.
How very...
...dishonest.

I would like to take a moment to ask for donations.
It should be clear to all conservatives by now that the left intends to demonize us. They don't just disagree with us, they hate us. And worse, they want to get other people to hate us.
Places like Free Republic drive the left batty.
Please donate. Thanks for your consideration.

Basically, this was a study that was done by some studiers that were studying the results of some other studier's studies and all they could conclude was that they need to do some more studies.

Just a precursor to demands for complete elimination of all firearms. The Left has been transparent in their ongoing effort to pass gun laws, not enforce them, and then calling for more gun laws because the ones they passed (and didn't enforce) didn't work. This 'report' is just the next step in their disarmament plan for American citizens.

Hey, this study didn't get the "right" results; so the study must be flawed. Time to get some more taxpayer cash to fund a "better" study!
