For all of the money, time, and apparent strength of the movement, lost ground is the only thing to show for it all. I disagree. Abortions are happening at a terrifying pace, yet we are about to ban PBA, and many states have parental notification/consent laws, and a few (like Texas) have Women's Right to Know laws.
Piece by piece we are chipping away. Yet it will take a pro-life Supreme Court, and that President Bush must provide.

Abortions are happening at a terrifying pace,
Yes they are.
yet we are about to ban PBA,
Again. And the courts will toss that ban. Again. And Again.
and many states have parental notification/consent laws,
Laws that give teenage girls the right to abortion, as long as they "notify" their parents OR get a court to act in their parents place. In other words, we have passed laws HELPING teen girls kill their babies. How sad.

In a sense, I agree. But it's not just the courts that need changing, it's the media, the schools, and the general mentality of the populous.
What we need is a conservative "explosion", like the Dark Years (1964-1973), only in reverse.
