Not only can't these limps win any elections, they can't even side with the winner.

Tell me, please: In what way is siding with the (presumed) winner expected to help the Libertarian Party, or for that matter BUSHdude2000?

Politics is not a game of football where being on the winning side brings temporary feelings of exultation.

Or do you think of it as sport in your part of the country?

The limpertarian party is irrelevent, so you're right, there's no need to side with the winner to advance the party.
