I have a half dozen Sowell books, but I did not realize he was that old. I thought he was in his fifties, not his seventies.

Bad news about his age, though ... he'd better be exercising and drinking plenty of red wine, because there's no substitute for Sowell.

I have one of his latest works "Economics" which has a fairly current picture of him. I would have guessed him to be in his late 50's too.
