A Fox story pointed out that he may have lost his hearing as a result of taking these drugs. But cheap shots from provincial Democrat rags are par for the course.

Had a dog once who lost his hearing due to autoimmune disease. He never once took these drugs prior to the hearing loss. I also have a close friend who is now deaf in both ears from autoimmune disease. (In fact, she is treated by the same CA specialist that Rush uses, though she is not an implant candidate.) She never once took these drugs prior to hearing loss.

My only point is that Rush may have lost hearing for the very reason he and his physicians have given - autoimmune disease. Unless, of course, we are to believe that he lied to his docs going into treatment. That makes about as much sense as lying to your shrink.

*IF* it is true that Rush has been hooked on "hillbilly heroin" (the street name for this type of opioid) for the better part of five years, then I guess we can say that we have been listening to the parsings of an addict. I pray that Rush gets the help that he needs or his life is though. I don't care if he has been high as a kite and buying pills in parking lots, I support Rush though thicker and thin!

Rush knows that drug addicts need our help.
He needs to have your support, too.
