The sliming of Arnold is to provide a cover for vote fraud, just as it was in the Bush DUI incident in 2000. And possibly also in the Californian races in which Fong, Herschhorrn, and Simon lost.

The only hope we have of surmounting this effort is massive turnout for Republicans and extensive montoring of the polls.

Look for a Zogby poll over the weekend showing Arnold losing support due to one or more of these scandal bombs the Rats are throwing. That is what he did at the end of the Bush campaign.

We have been very slow to awaken to the nature of the conflict in this nation.

Both the Torricelli and the Wellstone precedents lead easily to a situation in which it will be hard to tell in the future who the real winner of an election is.

With Torricelli, they get to switch candidates-but they need new ballots.

With Wellstone, they get to count votes for Wellstone as votes for Mondale-or votes for Dean as votes for Hillary (If I were Howard, I would only take the bus after 10/1/04).

The addition of as many as eight million illegal votes (i.e., votes by non-citizens) further complicates the picture, since, to validate an election, those votes will need to be taken out of the totals.

So, where are we going? More discretion to election officials and judges to ADD votes or to SUBTRACT votes after the fact, that's where.

Combine this with the chilling quote from a Gore official in FL (I wish I had the cite) that no count that did not have Gore the winner would be valid, BECAUSE THEY KNEW THAT ELECTING GORE WAS THE POPULAR WILL, REGARDLESS OF ACTUAL "PAPER" VOTES, and you have the makings of catastrophe.

The other side seems indifferent to civil war, perhaps because they think they cannot be defeated.

Why do you think they are so hostile to our Second Amendment?

I recall a few threads with good tips on poll watching and monitoring. I hope the repubs have an extensive army of folks equipped with video equipment to keep an eye on who's voting at more than one location. Even if nobody is caught in the act, it would be interesting to see the same van full of Teamsters unload at 3 or 4 different voting places.

Considering the forum, I would have presumed your plea would have been for a massive turnout for conservatives
