LAS VEGAS — A tiger attacked magician Roy Horn during a Friday night performance of "Siegfried & Roy" at The Mirage hotel-casino, authorities said.
Firefighters were called about 8:45 p.m. and found Roy had been "attacked at the throat" by a tiger during a performance, said Clark County Fire spokesman Bob Leinbach.
He was taken to University Medical Center. "He's at the hospital alive. What his status is now, I don't know," Leinbach said.

Wasn't Roy the one that didn't like the cats? I saw a interview and you could see that he really didn't like having the cats walk around the house that much.

Roy was attacked at the throat, said Clark County Fire spokesman Bob Leinbach. He was taken to University Medical Center; Leinbach did not know his condition.
The illusionists, who put on one of the most well-known and expensive Las Vegas shows with their signature white tigers and lions, signed a lifetime contract with the Mirage in 2001.
Fishbachler, 61, and 56-year-old Roy Uwe Ludwig Horn have performed together in Las Vegas for more than 30 years. They opened at the Mirage hotel-casino in February 1990.
