I think part of the slime strategy is like a carrot on a stick in front of McClintock. Each new slime attempt is another reason for McClintock to keep on trucking with his campaign.

McClintock is a second rate state senator whose 5 minutes of fame are about up.

I think he's probably the better man all around for the job ---- but unless he can come up with some past scandals, he seems pretty much off the front page ----- which I think might matter just a few days before the election.

Like I said from the beginning when Savage considered running, this is a very fast election cycle. Name recognition is far more important than normal. If this were a primary, McClintock would have creamed Arnold. As things stand, he did an amazing job, or I should say, McClintock supporters did a fantastic job! He is now one of the leading conservative voices, poised to take Arnold to task whenever there's a miss-step.

Savage and Hannity will be more than glad to hear McClintock those moments when Arnold needs dressing down. In fact, it will push Arnold further to the right than he wants to go. I only hope that McClintock treats Arnold with cautious civility at this final hour. FReegards....
