Being from out of state apparently has never caused problems for someone
casting a vote in Los Angeles.

And if the nice senior citizens running the polling place object (because you
don't look like a voting illegal from Mexico or points south), tell them you're a Canadian.

If that doesn't work, tell them you're one of the many Californians from another planet
(re: Gray's slip about "people from all planets" being citizens of CA)

Even if they won't let you vote, you (probably) won't get arrested...unless you
let them know you're of "European descent" and a US citizen.
