They should put a camera in each lavatory to catch people joining the "mile high club." :)
To: GeneD
Next thing they're going to want to do is put video cameras inside the onboard restrooms - no more Mile-High Club!

Yep! I can see it now:
Suicidal Terrorists - drop your weapons. You are on our video camera now.

Didn't they used to have cockpit cameras that they'd turn on during takeoffs?
I recall a story about a pilot that got in trouble for putting on a "Wookie hand" with which he pushed the throttles forward while the "takeoff cam" was running.

(Is the RKBA still a right if you have to get the government's permission before you can exercise it?)

More insanity from the PC Government types.
First they refuse to perform logical profilling (just how many blond females over the age of 40 get the Full Monty at the airports) then cameras to spy on everyone, including the captains and co-pilots.
Probably will catch flight attendants napping or grabbing extra pretzels and soft drinks, but in the name of security (or just CYAs for ignoring the felons hired by this bunch of idiots) deny the public's right not to be treated like criminals until we can prove otherwise.

Very good idea!
We need accurate video of each plane going down so we will all be able to see all of the terrorist boarding the planes, like after 911.
How about the boarding crews of each of the planes, who took the bad guys on board. I enjoyed -0- news about these obvious whitnesses.
I also enjoyed all the "Fly Me Now" video about learning to fly a 767 via Piper Cub, as they both fly through the air.
I have, on many occasions, although not a pilot directed a single engine plane exactly where I pointed the stick. At 10,000 feet you can recognize "nothing" even though you live underneath.
I could fly upside-down and in circles if it weren't for the actual pilot, but he never gave me navigation directions about our landing field. It looked like a flat field at 10,000 feet, so just land here.
Just something to think about.
