Arnold Rallies in Santa Clarita

Just got back from the Arnold Rally in Santa Clarita. There were around 1,000 people in attendance - my educated guess - and his comments were on the short side.
Schwarzenegger's appearance was made after an appearance of Darrell Issa. Many in the crowd didn't seem to know Issa was there to wave at them and greet them with a wave of his hand (there was no Master of Ceremonies). I recognized him right away. He deserved more of an applause than he got - which was scant.
Arnold said basically a quick campaign recap of his stump speech: let's bring California back and make California great again. "All I have, I owe to California. Now I am ready to give back to California." An appeal for help came after this.
He did say he would get rid of the triple car tax and would work to improve the business climate.
What was NOT said was anything about the recent smears regarding women and Hitler. Arnold made a constructive, uplifting stump speech, and left shortly after making his statements. He did pump several hands of the general public two times in a row just before he left, to great applause.
The crowd, meeting on the grounds of a block making (construction) business, stood the whole time (nowhere to sit) and was apparently not infiltrated with political saboteurs or hecklers. One person did have a sign that read "Lane for Governor" but he was widely ignored.
Women were abundantly present, including children and babies in strollers. The women I talked to while there had no fear or concern about the allegations against Arnold published in the Los Angeles Times. When the subject came up, the allegations were dismissed as pre-election political mudslinging. They were not fooled.
And yes, the media were here. I saw KCBS's van and a KNBC camera while there, but the media were not my focus.

A counterweight article to balance out what happened in Arcadia earlier this morning. Thought FReepers would like to know about this event as well as Arcadia.

I like Coleman. He represents the little people.

Remember in the movie "Patton". Patton is looking out after the big tank battle victory and exclaims,", Rommel you magnificent son of a bitch, I READ YOUR BOOK" Arnold can do the same to the clinton mob after this slime salvo is finished. The felon in chief dumbed down the sheeple to the same garbage their pulling now.

Where did they do this? At Clanton Block on scuzzy San Fernando Road?? You'd think they could have found a better spot...

I believe that's the name of the business. Yes, it was on the corner of San Fernando Road & Mc(something. . . I don't remember).
I too was wondering why the rally was held there instead of say, Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road. Central Park has much more land and parking (most people parked on San Fernando Road in the no stopping zone). I heard some say that an Arnold supporter owns the business there, and so that's why the rally was there at his business. But I have not checked that statement out.

If you get a chance to see a tape of Maria Shriver today speaking at a meeting of California women, you will see a great speech.
Her husband can do everything except walk on water........but he might do that too if he focuses on it!

Arnold was introduced by a female entertainment personality (name escapes me) at Arcadia this morning. She basically vouched for him there.
Also, Arnold refuted the slime directed at him in the last 24 hours or so while at the Arcadia Arboreteum. KFI AM radio 640 in Los Angeles had this in their news several times this morning. KFI's on the Internet. . . search around on Dogpile.com or a search engine of your choice for the story via KFI.

Yes, I know. He is using his binoculars and then puts them down and exclaims that which you attribute to him.
I don't know. I hate so see Arnold and Clinton compared. However, I suppose it is worse to compare a Nazi general and Patton.
